About the Programme
Sessions
This conference will:
- Put solutions first - showcasing solutions, not just problems
- Be a melting pot – insights from various sectors will help generate integrated solutions
- Promote networking and collaboration
Each session has been designed to have valuable input from business and industry, academia, NGOs and policy makers, where possible.
The programme also benefits from expert facilitation by Professor Alice Roberts, Biological Anthropologist, Television Presenter and Author; Femi Oke, Television Presenter and Journalist.
Networking and collaboration
The programme will provide ample opportunities for networking and collaboration between speakers and delegates. The programme included the following networking opportunities:
- ‘Meet the Keynote Speakers’ sessions: small group sessions (limited to 15 delegates) to meet with keynote speakers, ask questions and discuss issues in a “Chatham House Rules’ setting
- Speaker’s Corner: a dedicated networking space within the Talent and Innovation Zone to network with the conference speakers
- Forum Dinner and Welcome Reception – for further networking
- “Networking Café’ dedicated area for meeting and discussion
- Conference app and platform – with dedicated functionality for contacting and booking meetings with speakers and other delegates
Other activities at the Forum
There is a lot more going on alongside our scheduled programme, providing informal opportunities for networking and engagement. These activities include:
- Talent and innovation zone
- Live poster presentations with poster trains (led by thought leaders)
- Global Youth Hackathon, with youth working together to come up with solutions for the Global Challenges
- Vibrant Cultural programme – with live performances and art installations
